Harvest Report 2014

At Mas Belles Eaux the decuvages finished on the 1st November. The least that one can say is that we had a turbulent harvest period: 400 mm of rain between the 15th and the 30th September! This forced us to harvest very rapidly.

Vineyards

Mas Belles Eaux is situated in the Languedoc region (South of France). Here, the winters are mild and the summers hot and dry, giving a particularly generous wine-growing region through the diversity of “terroir”. Winemaking

To be sure that our different grape varieties deliver their very best, we have built a new steel and concrete vat-house, which opened in 2008. The facility means we can now work plot by plot, variety by variety. Juggling with vat volumes ranging from 2 to 256 hectolitres, we obtain the most comprehensive selection possible with each plot.
