The domaine was established by Pierre Voarick in 1924. In the 50s, his son Michael succeeded him and developed the current domain with an area of 9 hectares in Pernand Vergelesses and Aloxe-Corton.

The Vineyards are on average 30 years old. Their roots grow deep into the subsoil made of limestone, marl and some clay.
As the vines grow deeper and work harder to get their nutrients the end results are found in wines that show a lot of character and complexity.
