Mumm Napa has been sourcing grapes from Devaux Ranch Vineyard in the Carneros Region of Napa Valley since 1991. Located on the southern tip of Napa in the Carneros AVA, the vineyard's 110 acres is planted with the same three varietals that make French Champagne - Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.
Considered by many one of the most beautiful vineyards in Napa Valley, this estate-grown site is named after Mumm Napa's founding Winemaker, Guy Devaux. Guy was a pioneer of Méthode Traditionnelle sparkling wines, and Devaux Ranch is symbolic for creating his ultimate Brut, blend of 58% Pinot Noir, 28% Chardonnay, 8% Pinot Meunier and 6% Pinot Gris.
Each year, our Winemakers honor this vineyard site and visionary founding winemaker Guy Devaux by crafting a vintage-dated Devaux Ranch Cuvée using the most pristine grapes from each harvest. Devaux Ranch Cuvée is traditionally a Club Vivant member-exclusive release.
Rich soil, strong vines and distinct grape varietals are the definition of a great terroir, and Devaux Ranch is how Mumm crafts high-quality sparkling wines.
