Of the total of 70 hectares, 46 are planted with vineyards. The Pêra Rocha pear orchard, with ‘Pêra Rocha do Oeste’ Protected Designation of Origin, occupies 4.5 hectares and the remaining area is comprised of various woods, some of which are extremely old – supposedly, the oldest date back to the 14th century, and the olive trees create a border along the estate’s boundaries.
