History
The FANTI estate, owned by the homonym family since the early ‘800, has always been a benchmark in the production of wine, extra-virgin olive oil and cereals in the area of Montalcino..In the early seventies Filippo Fanti, the current owner, took the lead of the family company and marked and important turning point.In fact Filippo decided to focus on the quality of each step of the production process of the wine and of the olive oil starting from the soil, replanting the vineyards and the olive trees after a careful selection of the most suitable plots of land within his 300 hectares property.
Thanks to Filippo’s forty-years-old experience as wine-grower and the energy and determination of Elisa, his daughter who joined the family company in 2007, the importance of the FANTI brand keeps growing and reinforcing its position in the domestic and international scenario. Modern wine making technologies were introduced drawing inspiration from the tradition. Innovation was consciously and constantly brought in the production process, generation after generation. The eco-friendly approach to agriculture and the respect of the soil and of the natural cycles allow Tenuta Fanti to offer day after day top quality products to its consumers.
