Historia
After 35 years in the wine industry Trevor "Boots" Jones embarked on an exciting new venture - Trevor Jones Fine Wines. For the Barossa winemaker with the trademark handlebar moustache, it is another exciting chapter in a career that has crossed four decades. Trevor started his winemaking career in 1977 at the old Bernkastel winery near Tanunda (now Langmeil) rubbing shoulders with the likes of Robert O'Callaghan and Lindsay Stanley.
He went on to work in the Hunter Valley at Tyrrells and at Angelsey Wines in Angle Vale before returning to Kellermeister in 1988 and joined St Hallett in the Barossa in 1991. For much of the 1990s he worked alongside Stuart Blackwell crafting Old Block Shiraz from dry grown vines. Eden Valley Riesling, Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc, Barossa Valley Shiraz and GSM.
