The island of Mazzorbo is home to a vineyard that has been able to overcome the challenge of the high tide for centuries, giving rise to a wine with characteristics that are entirely unique.

When Doge Pietro Ziani’s son Marco Ziani died the vineyard in the historical centre of Venice was left by testament to the Order of Friars Minor and it can still be admired in the monastery of San Francesco della Vigna.
