I remember every year in the vineyards ever since we started to work the land organically. The problems with imbalances which had been hidden behind conventional farming methods started to file out one by one in front of us.
Year after year the weakest parts of our vineyards stood out to remind us that we were not doing it properly.

5 families make up La Universal's grape growers as well as our ourselves. They work their vineyards in a sustainable manner and their grapes are used to make Venus and/or Dido, depending on the quality of each vineyard plot.
These grape growers are: Josep Vaqué, Lluís Miró, Miquel Compte, Pep and Josep Martori and the Pi brothers (Jordi and Pere).
