Written Notes

Dark purple colour with violet hue. Noble nose with opulent character, rich fruit with an aroma reminiscent of ripe plums and cherries, mulberries, blackberries but also gingerbread spices and fine toasting. On the palate rich taste with very convincing depth and length, a stunning Rouget, one of the positive surprises of this vintage.

  • 95p

Rouget: Tasted twice (Rollands and UGCB). It shows aromatic cherries and notes of dark chocolate on the nose. Elegant, subtle, tender, and well-knitted on the palate. Fine acidity, midpalate, and persistent aftertaste. Splendid effort. 93-94p.
