Wine Information

To celebrate our 15 years in the Willamette Valley and the 15th anniversary of Merriman Vineyard, we hand selected 8 barrels from the 2014 harvest, putting our emphasis on this unique vineyard site, farmed by Mike Merriman. The compilation of the diverse clones planted within the 29-acre estate exemplifies a stellar vintage for Oregon Pinot Noir and captures the spirit of "a perfect year" in 2014.

Merriman Vineyard has been a tried-and-true source for our "The Kilmore" Pinot Noir for many years, with a few limited edition vineyard designate bottlings. In 2014, we knew we had to single out a few of the barrels and introduce a tribute wine to not only celebrate our mutual anniversaries but also to show how years of experience and passion is rewarded with a wine so true to our style and brand.

Tasting Notes:

An aromatic blend of thyme and oak spice, this blend of 45% Wadenswil, 45% Dijon 113 and 10% Pommard clones is bursting with opulent flavors of eucalyptus, baking chocolate, black pepper and clove. Juicy raspberry and floral rose petal notes linger across the elegant mid-palate, creating a balanced and complex mouthfeel and lasting finish.
