Rousseaux-Batteux Cuvée Inox Grand Cru Extra Brut is a precise, terroir-reflective Champagne that showcases the family’s Grand Cru fruit from Verzenay with minimal intervention. The bouquet opens with fresh orchard and tree fruit—crisp pear, green apple and hints of citrus—alongside subtle floral lift and expressive mineral notes that speak of chalky soils. There’s also a delicate touch of dried apricot and honeyed nuance adding complexity without sweetness. 

On the palate it is lively and energetic, with brisk acidity and an extra-brut profile that accentuates its clarity and focus. Flavours of grapefruit and citrus peel are supported by saline, stony tension and a refined texture, while gentle savoury spice and a light herbaceous thread extend into a long, clean finish.
