The Story
Pugnitello was planted at Campogiovanni in 1998, and ‘Arkeos’ is the result of blending Pugnitello with Sangiovese. Matures in small oak barrels and in the bottle.

20-25 days fermentation on the skins at 28-30° C, followed by malolactic fermentation and 18-20 months’ maturation in 500-litre French oak casks, then 6/8 months’ ageing in the bottle
