The Story
Brunello Poggio Doria is the wine of sunset, the wine from the West. Poggio Doria's vineyard is located in the North-West side of Montalcino with South/West/North-West exposure. The vineyard is approximately 260 meters above sea level and composed of jasper, sand and clay. Vines are planted using training system of spurred cordon with 5,200 plants per hectare. Ruby red color with garnet highlights. Ample and highly complex flavors at the nose develop then to mineral notes of graphite, fruity tones of red berries and spicy aromas of clove and vanilla.
