A unique terroir. Old vines. Grapes hand harvested at optimum ripeness. French oak barrels selected by our winemaker. 22 months barrel ageing and another year ageing in the bottle. Limited edition 5.000 bottles. Label painted by Benito Rojo, an outstanding contemporary Chilean artist.
Gran Bosque has a cellaring potential of 10 years or more. At 2-3 years it can also be enjoyed.
Tasting notes: Deep, dense ruby/purple. Massive nose of ripe black fruits, mint, sandalwood, graphite and toasted notes. Full-bodied and opulent, with silky tannins and an extremely long finish. This is a gorgeous Maipo Cabernet for early drinking, or a few years in the cellar.
