Ruby colour with slightly garnet hue and violet tinges. Multi-layered nose with distinct toasting, dark chocolate, vanilla and toasted oak backed by ripe fruit reminiscent of black cherries, blackberries, hints of raspberries and blackcurrant spurs. A whiff of cold smoke. On the palate well structured with convincing length, aromatic depth and fine tension, balanced fruit, toasting and spiciness.
