Dark ruby in color, this wine jumps out of the glass with a briar berried liquor-like aroma of marmalade, preserved fruit, and roses. Not sweet on the palate, but smooth as a baby’s bottom with flavors of red and black berries, cedar, briar brandied cherries, and the chalkiness of the terroir.
