Ageing: The wine remained 2 years in our cellars in contact with yeasts in the bottle.
Potential of ageing: from 5 to 10 years in good cellar. If the rose color evolves/moves in an unforeseeable way with the passing of years, the wine does not lose therefore its freshness and its aromatic quality.
The MARGUET method for the elaboration of Rose Champagne, without being a secrecy, is not inevitably common: majority use of Chardonnay, to which comes to be added red wines of Ambonnay and Bouzy and a suspicion of Rose of bleeding, not for its color but for its aromatic support.
