The Story

The Malbec grapes come from two vineyards: El Oasis (60%) –  the oldest estate located 1200 metres above sea and  La Pampa (40%)  located 1300 metres above sea.

The soils are shallow, alluvial and stony, with excellent permeability and low content of organic matter. Balanced vines, trellis-trained in bilateral cordon, with low production as well as ecient drip irrigation control and optimum ripeness.

Written Notes

Good looking normal size bottle. Colour is purple and deep. On the nose it is youthful, intense, rich, generous, ripe, complex and refined. The taste is jammy, perfumed, refined, full, round, toasty, rich, voluptuous, robust, elegant, ripe, warming, with silky tannins, and average in acidity, full-bodied, with perfectly balanced, complex, concentrated, well-structured, well-integrated structure and youthful. On the palate it is layered and has blackberry, cassis, smoky, chocolate, spice, perfumed and toasty flavours. The finish is long, lingering, round, spicy and flavorful. This wine is a mouthfilling and impressive. Perfectly stored bottles are still very worthy and will last well for another 10-15 years and decant at least over 4h before tasting.
