Chateau Batailley 2012 is of dark purple colour and has a fresh blackcurrant fruit with blackberries, cedar wood, earth, spices, smoke, liquorish and chocolate. Very good round tannins with a medium to full-bodied structure on the palate, it is dense with good depth and complexity and a long finish. Drink 2012-2030.
