The Story

After fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 to 15 months in French oak barrels (made of split oak staves form the forests of Central France) 50% to 70% of the barrels are new and 50% to 30% are one-year old.

Cantenac Brown CC - 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot and 3% Cabernet Franc. It's a kind of modern wine with upfront fruit, energetic and vibrant, aromatic and luscious on the palate with splendid acidity and persistent finish. Gorgeous wine. 94p (94p).

Deep crimson. Black currant, blackberry brambly aromas. Generous supple textured wine with cassis herb chinotto flavours, fine plentiful chalky tannins and attractive mineral length.

Dark purple red colour with violet hue and black core. Aromatic nose with ripe fruit, blackberries and plums, fine roasting aroma in the background. On the palate powerful yet elegant, fine acidity, ripe tannins, excellent fruit and convincing length.
