Written Notes

Coutet – 38 ha, 75% Sémillon, 23% Sauvignon Blanc, 2% Muscadelle. On the nose you find intensely fragrant sweet pineapple, remarkable acidity and sweetness on the palate, acacia and heather honey, refined and sophisticated, lovely balance and finish. There's a great finesse and elegance. Great effort. 95p.

Deep yellow, almost golden colour. Expressive nose with aroma reminiscent of candied orange peel, pineapple, passion fruit, dried apricots, complemented by hints of vanilla and gingerbread in the background. On the palate rich yet well balanced with fine acidity, opulent sweetness, ripe yellow stone fruit, candied citrus fruit and hints of mango and ginger in the background. A well balanced with aromatic depth and excellent length.
