Written Notes

Deep colour. Intense dark chocolate mocha dark berry aromas with flinty notes. Concentrated wine with pure blackcurrant essence, underlying chinotto notes and plentiful fine grained tannins. Generous praline paneforte notes at the finish with a plume of chocolaty tannins and mineral freshness. Plenty of roasted coffee notes. Really well made wine. Tasted at Chateau Batailley/ Borie Manoux. 95 points

Dark purple red with violet hue and black core. Excellent nose, quite opulent, rich fruit, dark berries, black cherries and wonderful balmy spices. On the palate sweet fruit, almost smoky toasting flavour, rich character and excellent length. 93

Ruby. Cassis, vanilla, spices, detailed, blueberries nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, cassis, anise, vanilla, structured, long. Lynch-Moussas seems to be getting more serious over the last few years. 90-92
