Written Notes

Tasted in April 2017. 77% Merlot, 14% C. Franc and 9% C. Sauvignon, 14.7% alcohol. It was a beautifully crafted wine, so silky, so velvety, so dramatically fresh and aromatic compared to vintages before 2015. What a turn-around! On quick way to Pomerol's elite wines!!

Only the old vines are used for the Petit-Village which displays a dark purple red with colour with violet hue and almost black core. Rich nose yet elegant character, succulent fruit and perfectly balanced oak spices. On the palate juicy and sweet fruit, ripe but firm tannins and extraordinary length.

Ruby. Floral, fruity, blackberries, anise, scented, elegant, detailed nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, fruity, dark berries and spices, detailed, long. 95-97
