This is a really lovely wine, and it’s also quite a technical one. First the blend: 50% Chardonnay (Côte des Blancs and Vitryat – Le Mesnil sur Oger and Oger, Vanault-le-Châtel) and 25% Pinot Noir and 25% Pinot Meunier (From the Marne valley between Epernay and Dormans). The Story
A very special Champagne, its base wine has been aged in barrels and the blend is made of a minimum of 70% old reserve wines. The beautiful Grand Cru Chardonnay component gives it its structure, elegance and longevity, the Pinot Noir some satisfying deep berry fruit and the Pinot Meunier some pretty, lifted fruit aromas.
