The Deutz style continues to be understated, refined, and made to exacting standards. In addition to their property in Ay, D...

2008 -The Champagne vintage set to make history!

A first taste of leading winemakers’ 2008 champagnes reveals a miraculous vintage, bubbling with potential, which – whisper it – might just prove the greatest in living memory.

The citrus-colored 2008 Amour de Deutz Brut Millésime is still yeasty on the nose, but very clear and elegant on the palate. This is a super pure and mineral, well-balanced Millésime with a long, intense and persistent finish. This is full of tension and finesse. A great wine. WA

Good looking normal size bottle. Colour is green-yellow and light. On the nose it is open, youthful, intense, refined, fresh, seductive, charming and pure. The taste is fresh, harmonious, focused, elegant, silky, fragrant, toasty, vivid, and dry, and average in acidity, light, with perfectly balanced, complex, well-structured, well-integrated, good texture, concentrated structure and youthful. On the palate it is layered and has floral, creamy, citrus, toasty and white fruits flavours. The finish is long, lingering, vibrant, pure and flavorful. This wine is sophisticated and impressive. Perfectly stored bottles are still very worthy and will last well for another 1-5 years.
