The Story

Dow’s Vintage Ports are only produced in years of exceptional quality and represent only a very small part of the total company’s production in that year. Written Notes

Fine looking bottle. Decanted two hours. Lots of sediums. Medium-dark deep ruby colour. An elegant, spicy, complex nose. Very full and intense wine. Generous mouthful of wild berry, smoke, black cherries and dried fruit flavors and aromas. Quite vigorous, but it has soft fruit there. Still very much alive and has a creamy, warm ending. Very good.
