Written Notes

I was not entirely convinced that Anselme has found perfection this time. Is it just a phase or is there a brown slightly messy side of this creation? Is it a little too far between the ingredients or am I grumpy unnecessarily? Anyway It's really good, right from the start.

Bright, green yellow colour. Very oxidative nose, yellow plums, ashes, green apples with yeasty dough aromas. The nose reminds of Fino Sherry. Dry, very crisp palate, with great concentration and plenty of layers on palate. Oxidative but extremely vibrant palate that shows great energy. Firm and powerful champagne with great lemony mineral concentration and extremely long nutty finish! JL 89p (17/9/2020)
