Wine Information

In this incredibly sunny vintage ( a record in the last 30 years), the champagne house Ruinart created a high quality rosé champagne. Composed of 83% Chardonnay Grand Crus and 17% Pinot Noir Grand Crus, this rosé impresses by its incredible hold in time. Dom Ruinart Rosé 1990 presents an orangy colour with copper-coloured glints. Written Notes

Very vinous and developed nose that is uniquely toasty, with a rich, round taste, velvety smoothness and elegance. Bearing a resemblance to the Pinot Noir of Bourgogne, this is a ripe wine with perfect acids and classic elegance.

Dom Ruinart Rosé 1990 Expressive and mature nose with dried red berries, strawberries and cranberries and hints of black tea, hay and curry like spices. Full, rich and still fruity palate with red berries, spices and brioche notes that continues seamlessly into a rich finish with mineral notes. Big and maturing, this wine lack a little bit of elegance and acidity but is a pleasure to drink today. Drink now-2018 93p.
