History

Winegrowers from father to son, Florent Garaudet is the 5th generation to share his passion for wine. He founded his own estate in 2008, quite distinct from that of his father Paul Garaudet. All of them are close friends, sharing good advice both in the vineyard and in the cellar. Domaine Florent Garaudet covers 3 hectares in the lovely appellations of Monthelie, Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet.

Vineyards

Planted to a very high density ( 10 000 to 11 000 vines per hectare ) the entire domain is trained with the greatest of care. Throughout the year careful attention to detail in the vine yards ensures only a modest crop, but one of exceptional quality with healthy grapes at the peak of ripeness and displaying all the rich, complex aromas typical of their unique terroir.

Winemaking

At the moment of harvest, the bunches are brought to the cuverie whole and is small containers to maintain quality.

The grapes are vinified with the utmost care to retain their intrinsic qualities and following traditional methods, while alcoholic fermentation ensues naturally with the yeast present and without the use of any chemical products, further emphasizing the notion of terroir.
