Since 1888, the finest Sangiovese grapes of the property have been used to make Brunello di Montalcino, one of the world’s most famous red wines. Warm winter, infrequent rainfall, but sufficient to meet groundwater requirements. The months of June and July were perfect, including some rain and a beautiful temperature range. At the end of July and the beginning of August there were very hot weeks with the vineyards reacting very well without going into water stress. A rain at the end of the summer allowed us to maintain a gradual and homogeneous maturation.
