Despite his training and success as a cooper, Henri Martin's heart was not in barrelmaking. So, starting in 1939, he left to become a winegrower. His lifelong ambition was to create a new estate, Château Gloria - a monumental undertaking! Dark purple colour with violet hue and black core. well structured nose with fine dark berries, hints of dark chocolate and subtle oak. On the palate elegant with ripe tannins and mild acidity, dark berries and juicy fruit, hints of dark chocolate, very good length and balance.
