Wine Description
The Story
Ponzi Classico is the benchmark for Willamette Valley Pinot. The fruits hails from older, high elevation vines from across the Willamette Valley, emphasizing aromatics and structure.
The grapes are hand sorted and destemmed, fermented in small lots, punched down twice a day, and lightly pressed. The wine is then aged in French oak (35% new) for 11 months, racked and bottled by gravity without filtration or fining.
