Wine Description
The Story
The grapes for this Grüner Veltliner come from the location Engabrunner Stein. One of the best, classified Grüner Veltliner locations ever.
Wine Information
Biodynamic. The fully ripe grapes of up to 40-year-old vines were harvested on October 4, 2015, spontaneously fermented in steel tanks, left to macerate for 10 hours and on the lees until June 2016 and then bottled.
Tasting notes: Cool and purist. White flowers and peach aromas make the beginning, but mix quickly stony and salty notes. The palate is straightforward and punchy - the primeval rock sends greetings. The acidity is alive and gives structure to the wine. Subtle orange notes are complemented by herbal aromas and embed themselves in a dense and compact body.
