Written Notes

The high content of iron in the slate soil is not only indicated in the vineyard's name but is also characterizing the wine intensively. The colour is bright golden. The nose is charming with balanced fruit, peaches, apricots, physalis and kumquats complemented by hints of floral components and slate minerality. On the palate the wine is densely woven, initially even slightly closed, shows distinct minerality and a balanced fruit complemented by aromatic herbs in the background.
