Following his passion for Tokaji, Lodovico Antinori has embarked upon a long-term project with wine maker Gabor Orosz. The grapes are grown in a single vineyard called “Nyulászo-király” in the Tokaji-hegyalja, Mád area of Hungary. Baron de Bornemisza Tokaji Aszu 6 Puttonyos is only made in extraordinary vintages, when the right climatic conditions prevail.
Vineyards: The grapes for Baron Bornemisza Tokaji come from a single vineyard, named Nyulászo-király, in the Tokaji-hegyalja, Mád area of Hungary.
In fluencing factors: Severe frost in a very cold winter influenced the quantity of yield in most grape varieties. The dry and hot summer resulted in early harvest.
