Because the vineyard produces a strictly limited annual yield (often under 9,000 bottles depending on the vintage), every single vine receives individual, painstaking care. The estate utilizes eco-friendly, integrated agricultural practices, implementing rigorous green harvesting, canopy thinning, and manual leaf removal to expose the grape clusters to ideal sunlight.
The resulting wine is pure, unadulterated 100% Merlot. In its youth, Château Monregard La Croix pours a deep purple or ruby-garnet color with violet reflections.
