Benjamin de Rothschild purchased a vineyard in the heart of the Marlborough region of New Zealand, in order to create Rimapere in 2012. The name of the property was a deliberate choice. It means “five arrows” in Maori and simultaneously honours the Rothschild family’s coat of arms and traditional New Zealand culture.
