Zonte’s Footstep is a proudly independent Australian wine producer established in 2003.

We take our vineyards and our wine, but not ourselves, too seriously.

The Story Behind the Name

The name of the winery brings together two distinct historical and geological discoveries on their original land: 

• The "Zonte" Alteration: The property was home to a 19th-century vineyard originally planted with Zante currant grapes. To pay homage to this history while legally navigating wine labeling rules, the founders altered the "A" to an "O" to create Zonte's.
