Love Symbol Grenache McLaren Vale 2023 ($36) – Quite how this name makes sense remains in the very large category of things I fail to grasp. No matter. It is a Grenache with lots to love (that can’t be it). 

Deep crimson, the nose gives us red fruits, florals and dried herbs, with raspberries and cherries to the fore. There are also gentle cigar box notes with plums and a hint of bergamot. A very attractive style of Grenache with good focus, juicy acidity and fine tannins, if a little sandy at times. Quite an elegant style which will drink beautifully over the next half dozen years. 92.
