A deeply expressive and luxurious Cabernet Sauvignon from one of Napa Valley’s most revered estates, the 2019 Cappella showcases extraordinary concentration, balance and varietal purity. The bouquet is profoundly layered, with intense aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and plum, interwoven with notes of mocha, graphite, tobacco leaf and dried herbs. Subtle hints of violet, dark chocolate and cedar add aromatic complexity and allure.
On the palate, it is full-bodied and impeccably structured. Dense, concentrated dark fruit is framed by ultra-fine, polished tannins and vibrant acidity, giving the wine both power and poise. Flavours of cassis, black cherry and blackberry are accompanied by savoury spice, espresso bean and mineral nuances that build through the mid-palate. Oak influence is exceptionally well-integrated, contributing elegant spice and texture without overshadowing the fruit core.
The finish is long, layered and persistent, with lingering black fruit, spice and a refined, stony mineral edge. A commanding and age-worthy Napa Cabernet that combines density with a seamless, almost aristocratic elegance.
