A cuirassier. Fleshy, extremely focused. Here Serralunga is present with signs of licorice, spices and dark fruits. Cherry, currant and blueberry melt harmoniously together. Velvety and sweetly ripe, with splendidly integrated tannins. San Rocco gives an impression of great power, austerity, with an incredible aging potential. Pure complexity. A strong character. Monumental.

Written Notes
Good looking normal size bottle. Colour is ruby red, brick red, and looking bright and medium. On the nose it is open, intense, youthful, refined, ripe, charming and pure. The taste is fresh, harmonious, vivid, refined, elegant, with silky tannins, and average in acidity, medium-bodied, with perfectly balanced structure and youthful. On the palate it is layered and has raspberry, violet, smoky, cherry, blueberry, mineral, licorice and spice flavours. The finish is long, lingering, pure and vibrant. This wine is sophisticated and fine. Perfectly stored bottles are still very worthy and will last well for another 10-15 years and decant at least 2h before tasting.
