Vintage 2015

Full report of Bordeaux 2015 by Andrew Caillard MW “Next in line in a great series of vintages; 2000, 2005, 2009, 2010 and 2015.

Written Notes

Deep, ruby colour. The nose is intense with rich blackcurrant and chocolate aromas enhanced with vivid spiciness. Rich medim-bodied palate fills mouth with velvety tannins and ripe black fruits. Long harmonious finish. Well-balanced wine delivers an instant pleasure but the intensity and concentration in structure shows good potential for further ageing of 5 to 10 years. Ideal wine for roasted  wild duck, plum figs and truffle polenta.
