Planted varieties:  Merlot 65 to 75%, Cabernet Sauvignon 15 to 25% and Cabernet Franc 10%.

 

Plantation density: 6,600 vines/hectare (1m x 1.5m)

Vineyard age:  30 years

Vineyard area:  55 hectares

Ageing: 12 to 16 months in oak barrels

Production: 16,000 cases.

Vintage: A rather cool spring, with a lot of rain, especially in May and June, slowed the start of the vines’ growth cycle and produced a delicate flowering with light, not very numerous clusters.
