Luonnehdinta
Kristallinkirkas, hieman kehittyneen kullankellertävä väri. Tuoksu on syvä, paahteinen, raikas, aavistus tammen luovuttamaa syvyyttä. Erittäin hienostunut, hyvin kuiva, pitkä maku; kypsää omenaa, paahtoleipää, appelsiininkuorta, paahdettua mantelia.

Viinialue
Rypäleet on kerätty kahdelta palstalta, Ludesin Premier Cru kylän keskirinteeltä. Le Hautes Plantesin palsta on istutettu Chardonnay-köynnöksillä vuonna 1969 ja La Vigne St-Jean on istutettu Pinot Noir-köynnöksillä vuonna 1973.
Muuta
Käyminen on tehty luonnonhiivoilla erikokoisissa, vanhoissa tammitynnyreissä. Viinin malolaktinen käyminen on estetty ja pullokäymisen jälkeen Samppanjaa kypsytettiin sakan päällä 60 kuukauden ajan.

**(*)/*** Peter Liem: Made of equal parts chardonnay and pinot noir, all from the village of Ludes, this is elegant and suave, its flavors of apricot, red cherry and citrus underlined by a stony, savory minerality. It's a step up from the previous two releases, feeling finer in tone than the 2005 and more complex and more harmonious than the 2004, and its finish is particularly impressive, showing a subtle nuance and outstanding length.
