Written Notes

Coming from the vineyard of Pietrabona, the Colore displays a bright yellow colour with a discreet green-golden hue. The nose is elegant yet very persistent with an aroma reminiscent of ripe pear and pineapple, juicy apricots  with hints of ripe blood oranges and blood orange peel. The nose is complemented by mint and macchia with a whiff of earthy minerality and refined toasting and spiciness in the background. On the palate well balanced with creamy texture, distinct minerality with fine saltiness. The flavour is reminiscent of ripe apricots, pomaceous fruit and a whiff of tropical fruit, discreet toasting, hints of hazelnuts and elegant mild spices. A great terroir wine with excellent length, precision, power and amazing tension.
