Written Notes

Shiraz from Margaret River, this saw equal amounts of destemmed and whole bunches in the fermentation, followed by ten months maturation in French oak puncheons. This is an exciting version of a wine so often underrated. 

A vibrant purple, the nose exhibits notes of mulberries, spices, black fruits, delicatessen meats, coffee grinds, leather, cigar box notes, purple fruits, plums and dark chocolate. There is good oak integration here, a wine of medium length and singular focus, a fine line of acidity and some good grip, which should be drunk over the next six to eight years. 93.
