The Story

The history of Château Bertrand Braneyre dates back to 1769. In 1993, Ludwig Cooreman bought Château Vieux Braneyre, renamed Château Bertrand Braneyre after the founder in 1769. After numerous investments in the vineyard, stainless steel vats, temperature control, a second vat house, etc., Château Bertrand Braneyre has become a safe bet in the wine world.

Dark purple colour with violet hue and black core. Fine nose with hints of oak and dark chocolate, ripe dark berries and a whiff of beetroots. On the palate well structured with juicy character, fruit quoting the nose, discreet spiciness and subtle toasting in the finish, very good length.
