The Story

After fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 to 15 months in French oak barrels (made of split oak staves form the forests of Central France) 50% to 70% of the barrels are new and 50% to 30% are one-year old.

Ruby. Blackberries, anise, spices, liquorice and herbs nose. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins, anise, leaner bodied, fairly detailed, long finish. 90-92

Dark purple colour with violet hue and black core. Elegant yet concentrated nose with distinct fruit reminiscent of black cherries, blackcurrants and elderberries, hints of mulberries in the background, discreet spiciness, vanilla and mild spices, fine toasting. On the palate a wine with full-bodied character, well structured with good depth and length, freshness, ripe fruit, elegant toasting, subtle oak and hints of mild spices, aromatic herbs and dark stone fruit. Excellent with racy character, fine tension, ripe tannins and excellent length.
