The Story

The 39 hectare Pessac Leognan vineyard is planted to red and white grape varietals. For the red wines, the vineyard is planted to 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, 4.5% Cabernet Franc and 2.5% Petit Verdot. The white grapes are planted to an even mix of 50% Sauvignon Blanc and 50% Semillon. The vine density of the Chateau de Fieuzal vineyards is on average, 8,300 vines per hectare.

Written Notes

Dark purple colour with violet hue and black core. Rich nose with sweet fruit, blackcurrants, blackberries and mulberries, hints of dark chocolate and vanilla. On the palate well structured with elegance and freshness, very good length and juicy fruit in the finish.
