The Story
Cabernet Sauvignon (51%) is the dominant grape variety, complemented by Merlot (49%). Typically St. Julien, with a velvety texture and a bouquet of smoky currants and herbs, du Glana represents perhaps the finest quality-price ratio in the entire AOC. About 112,000 bottles are produced each year, with a severe selection relegated to the second wine, Pavillon du Glana.
